All vintage cars have gone up drastically in the past 20 years almost doubling in value for the most part.They are a worthwhile investment.This car here is not totally stock.Prices i have been compiling show that ALL ORIGINAL cars bring the biggest bucks ! This is a beautiful car ! I'm drooling, even the bowtie guys can appreciate this one !
I would rather have that than a stocker...that SOHC probably represents 2/3 of the asking price...
I'm still kicking my butt for turning down a Hemi Cuda in the late 70's...would be worth about 20 times what I paid.
Frankly, GOOD vintage cars outperform almost all investments...even gold.
Having pictured that Stang and mentioned the Hemi Cuda...fer the Bowtie guys probably a Yenko 427 Camaro...

Yep, I sure miss my '68 Firebird, too bad it got squashed between a 40mph pickup and a parked '64 Mustang convertible. It wouldn't be stock now though, it would have a 502 and WIDE tires, wheels, and flares.

For me I would like a '67 Pontiac GTO 426CID with Tri-power(ie 3 2BBL Rochester 2CGs), hood-mounted tach, 4 on the floor with Hurst shifter and Positraction limited slip differential. The cat's meow.
If I were gonna do American Motors it'd have to be a 390 AMX
